Food is vital to our life. It supplies all the materials necessary for our body to grow, giving
us energy for activity, it replaces worn out and damage parts of the body, and allows us to function normally. Good nutrition makes a difference to how we work, play sports and enjoy our everyday life. There is no magic food for good health and no supplement can replace a normal balance diet.
The body needs over 40 nutrients to be able to function properly. These include carbohydrations,
protein, fats, vitamins and minerals.
Healthy eatting can provide valuable nutrients. Fruit, plain popcorn, yoghurt, milk drinks, sandwiches,
juice, muffins and soup are a good useful food for nutrients then what soda drinks, lollies, ice blocks and candy bars
offer.
I am not aiming at having one food area. I plan to have a whole range of recipes including
cakes, biscults, meat dishes, vegetable dishes and so forward also tips on cooking and links to other sites. I also look forward
to receiving recipes and tips from people around the world.
